IcelandAirclub started in 2006 by acquiring a hangar at the sought-after spot Fluggardar - the center of the aviation activities in Iceland - located at the largest Icelandic domestic airport Reykjavik, and in a walking distance from the heart of Reykjavik.
In 2007, IcelandAirclub acquired a totally refurbished Piper PA-28-140 airplane. The club operates the plane and the club members, holding valid pilot licenses and trained to fly the plane in the Icelandic environment, manuver the plane. The club is growing steadily and for this reason, we are in search for further aircraft acquisition and opportunities with our concept in new territories. |

IcelandAirclub is an independent, Icelandic aviation club. Its interests lie in stimulating and promoting aviation and flights in Iceland. The club is open, and consists of members interested in flying in Iceland. Members include pilots, aviation students, aviation enthusiasts, and people simply interested in occasional recreation flights, sightseeing flights, or even commuting between remote places.
